July 2022 Bar Exam Applications are Open

Applications for the New Jersey in-person July 2022 Uniform Bar Examination are open.  The timely deadline is March 31st, the late deadline is April 15th, and the FINAL deadline is April 30th.  

Applicants who are requesting accommodations pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) must submit the newly revised form which may be found in the “Application Forms” tab under “ADA Testing Accommodation,” then under “Browse Forms.” 

At this time, the July 2022 Bar Examination is anticipated to be administered in person.  The Board of Bar Examiners will administer the in-person examination informed by guidance from the New Jersey Department of Health (NJ DOH), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and other authorities.  Currently, these guidelines include a variety of protections, such as proper and frequent hand washing, social distancing and mask wearing.  Proof of vaccination, booster (if eligible), and/or negative test results also may be required to sit for the in-person exam.  The Board of Bar Examiners will continue to closely monitor public health and safety guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide updates which may impact the administration of the bar examination, as necessary.
